Use common sense when hosting a website for your customer! You wouldn't invite just ANYONE into your home to do as they please, would you? Of course not. And the same applies here. It's your server, and your service. Protect it from would-be abusers.
NetSpeedia.Net has policies about security and abuse, those policies are strict and non-distinctive for any customer or NetSpeedia.Net.
Dedicated servers: The good or bad use of the dedicated servers is entirely responsibility of the owner or client of this server.
In the case of ip addresses being blocked for Spam the client will have to pay to a fine of $200 dlls to NetSpeedia.Net plus the amount of what removing this IP from the Black list costs.
The client is also responsible for the security of his server and his scripts, many of the cases of Spam occur because of scripts poorly coded.
The dedicated servers who are deliberately creating Spam or any illicit act of any nature would be automatically suspended, and its hard disks along with all the contact information of the customer will be sent to the authorities for a possible prosecution.
The recidivism in a black list will have a cost of $275 dollars of fine plus the amount that costs to remove this IP from the respective black list. In the case of a dedicated server that has more than two recidivisms the server will be disconnected until we contact the customer and he explains the cause of this behavior and the measures that are thought to eliminate the problem, during this time the charges for the server will still apply even with the server being disconnected. After the release of an IP of a black list the IP will enter a phase of testing during a period of undetermined time where if the smallest sign of recidivism is detected the IP will be suspended before being listed again.
The time that the customer has been a DomainGurus customer or the monthly fee the customer pays does not means any type of tolerance on the previous policies. In the case of intentional illicit, the customer cannot negotiate the fact that their information is given or not given to the authorities. Spammers accounts will be suspended and its contact information and information on the hosting server will be given to the authorities. In the case of a single mail account causing Spam, the account will be suspended.
In the case of Resellers, they would have to communicate with their direct customers and take the appropriate and/or established measures at the time of contract with its direct customers. Resellers are responsible of verifying their customers before selling any kind of service to them.
In the case of an IP of a shared Hosting or Email being blocked by spam problems the amount of $45 dollars will be charged by each domain hosted in that address. DomainGurus is not responsible for any illicit material hosted in its servers (customer or reseller), all material or content that violates the norms of the established policies will mean irrevocable suspension of the account without any consideration.
